What do I need to do to confirm my resort booking?
Access your online booking here BEFORE you travel and make sure your personal information (and any guests' information) is updated.
What do I need at check-in?
Our room rates are VAT-exempt, which requires you to present your passport at check-in, as well as sign a card confirming you are attending the Optimize U conference. If these items are not presented at check-in, your room may be subject to additional taxes charged at check-in.
Can I make changes or upgrades to my room?
You may make edits to your booking by using your booking id and email address to access your booking online. Email our Travel Agent at [email protected] to inquire about room changes and upgrades.
How do I get to and from the airport and resort?
Our Travel Agent can book your transfers at our negotiated rates if you send your flight itinerary to [email protected]. You may choose to coordinate your own transfers. There is NO resort-provided shuttle.
How does my resort wristbands/access work?
There are several resorts on the property. If you are staying at the Maya resort, you have access to the family-friendly resort only. If you are staying at the JOIA / adults-only resort, your wristband gives you access to all resorts. You may purchase access to the adults-only resorts (email [email protected] for details). Note that all team activities, dinners, etc will be at the Maya resort where everyone has access.
Can I bring more people on my team?
Our room blocks are full, and additional rooms are subject to availability. To inquire about additional rooms, please contact [email protected].
Will I need to pay for anything at the resort?
The resort is all-inclusive, so once you get there, sit back and enjoy yourself! If you want to purchase anything at the spa or shops at the resort, you will need to bring your own form of payment.
PRO TIP: There is typically a local masseuse set up at the beach who offers low-cost massages by the ocean! The resorts also have their own full-service spas.
